Dual Enrollment
The Upper School Experience – Dual Enrollment and an Innovative Academic Experience Leading to an Associates of Arts Degree

Biblical Worldview
CCA students in grades ten, eleven, and twelve take dual enrollment courses with USCL. Students will earn as many as nineteen semester hour credits each year with these dual enrollment courses. Over a three-year period that can add up to fifty-seven semester hours of credits. CCA is also a CLEP test center. High school students can get another six to twelve semester hours of credits each year through these CLEP tests. Together, this is more than enough credits to have an associate’s degree when they graduate from CCA. Many students will do so.
Our high school offers a strong college preparatory curriculum, leading to graduates who are offered an array of college and university acceptances and scholarships in South Carolina and beyond. Our course of study offers the core requirements of a high school education.
CCA students build a knowledge base of intellectual skills while developing their reasoning and analysis. Our faculty are committed to providing individualized support and inspiring students to see and achieve their goals. We are grateful to be recognized by Niche as one of the best Christian High Schools in SC. In their Annual Report, “Best of South Carolina Awards,” CCA is ranked as the best private, Christian school in SC for the third year in a row.
During their high school years, tall CCA students are required to read one book each month, recite the 10 Commandments, the Beatitudes, Psa. 23 and 100, and other verses of Scripture. All this increases their vocabulary, enhances diction, and strengthens public speaking skills. They daily review Biblical worldview questions in preparation for the PEERS biblical worldview analysis.
However, the educational experience of CCA’s high school extends beyond this rigorous academic focus, offering students ample opportunities to explore their curiosities and creative talents, participate in athletic and arts programs, and engage in home mission activities that help develop rewarding relationships, leadership character, and community connectivity.
