Carolina Christian Academy’s Lexus Style Child Development is the result of more than twenty-five years of research and testing.  It puts two and three-year-olds on a fun and enjoyable developmental track where they will be reading at age four and on the second-grade level in kindergarten.

In CCA’s Lexus Style Child Development Pre-K2 students will learn:

Phonics

  1. Recognition of name, sound, and picture for short vowels and consonants
  2. Formation of vowels and consonants in upper and lower case

Language Development

Language development and listening skills that include color words, shapes, animals, transportation, countries, community helpers, health, safety, manners, science

Numbers

  1. Concepts of numbers 1 – 10
  2. Counting and coloring objects that teach numbers 1 – 10
  3. Orally counting to 25

Penmanship

  1. Writing all letters
  2. Writing first name
  3. Coloring in the lines

Bible and Character Training

  1. ABC Bible Memory Cards
  2. Singing hymns and choruses
  3. Learning Bible doctrinal drills and Bible stories
  4. Value Education: The importance of honesty, obedience, respect, Ten Commandments, etc.

Miscellaneous

  1. Art
  2. Flashcards that teach picture interpretation and vocabulary development
