The History of CCA

Carolina Christian Academy affirms that this is God’s world. In it, He established three institutions and clearly gave limited areas of responsibility to each. These three institutions are the home, the government, and the church. Each institution is subject to God’s authority and can do well what He ordained it to do. However, when one institution usurps the authority of another and seeks to do what God did not create it to do, it will fail in that effort. This explains why government excels in some areas and fails in other areas.

Government was established to punish those who violate God’s civil laws and to serve and encourage those who observe them, Rom. 13:1-7. God no more gives government the responsibility, the authority or permission to operate the schools than He does to operate the churches. Inasmuch as government’s intrusion into the area of educating children violates the Biblical parameters given to it, and inasmuch as giving a child a secular education violates the Biblical command to train up a child in the way e ought to go, CCA does not allow part time students to split their studies between Christian and non-Christian schools.

The home and the church are the only two institutions that God has ordained to teach. Please read Deut. 6:6-9; Matt. 28:18-20; and 2 Tim. 2:2; 3:15-17. Carolina Christian Academy affirms that children receiving a Christian education at home or at a Christian school, are the only two Biblical options.
