One hundred percent of CCA graduates are accepted by the colleges to which they apply. Many go to Christian colleges which we encourage for the same reasons we believe in K-12 Christian education. However, the colleges chosen, represent a broad spectrum spanning across the nation and foreign countries, e.g. Pensacola Christian College in Pensacola, Florida to Harvard in Boston and Oxford in London. Many students receive scholarship offers from a variety of colleges and most will receive scholarship dollars, some with multiple scholarships. Some will graduate debt free, having received substantial scholarships.
To make sure freshman take courses that are appropriate for their skill level, colleges give placement exams to entering freshman. CCA’s superior curricula results in students routinely exempting courses in all the core curricula subjects. In terms of the hours of the courses exempted, it is not uncommon for a student to exempt a semester or even a full year of college. Inasmuch as this enables our graduates to graduate college early, this represents significant savings in college tuition, sometimes exceeding what the parents paid CCA the whole time they were here.
